Order Entry and Shipping Policies
All prices shown on this web site are in U.S. dollars. All times shown are Pacific time zone (either standard or daylight savings, depending upon the time of year).
Shipping and handling charges are based on shipment to U.S. addresses in the contiguous 48 states; shipments to Alaska and Hawaii may incur additional shipping charges; we will contact you if this is the case. At this time we are not accepting international orders.
Minimum order shipping weight is one pound. Orders with multiple items are shipped based upon true total shipping weight in increments of one pound but if the total weight is less than one pound the shipping rates for one pound will apply. Some of our items are oversized and overweight products. Items that require pallet shipping, LTL truck or weight over 75lbs may require additional shipping fees.
Applicable state and county sales taxes will be added to all orders shipped to Washington state addresses.
Most HammockMall.com orders totaling $100.00 or more and shipped
for delivery within the 48 contiguous United States will receive an
option for FREE Ground Delivery shipping.*
The Free Shipping Option is calculated on the merchandise price total
for all items in the shopping cart (excluding Gift Certificate amounts)
and does not include any applicable sales tax or special handling
charges. It is the customer's responsibility to select the FREE
SHIPPING option at checkout or to ask for it on phone orders. Orders
that qualify for Free Shipping do not automatically default to Free
Shipping. A few oversized or overweight items - mostly large hammock
stands or hammock beds - qualify for our Free Shipping program but do
require an additional freight handling charge, the amount of which is
noted on the product description page for that item.
Shipping for orders under $100.00 are calculated based on shipping
weight, product dimensions and your delivery zip code. Shipping charges
that are computed during checkout are estimates and are subject to
correction.
*IMPORTANT NOTE:
HammockMall.com will deduct from the amount refunded the actual
outbound shipping and handling costs from any returned item that
originally received free shipping.
We maintain inventory on most products but due to the number of items, volatility of demand and vendor production schedules it is impossible for us to guarantee that we will have each and every individual item in stock when an order is received. Orders for in stock items are processed on a "first come, first served basis" based upon the date and time received.
We have outgoing order shipments picked up daily Monday through Friday; there are no shipments on Saturday or Sunday. For in stock items paid for with a properly authorized credit card:

Orders received before 2:00PM Monday through Thursday normally ship on the next business day after they are received (i.e. orders received before 2:00PM Monday ship Tuesday, orders received before 2:00PM Tuesday ship Wednesday, etc.);

Orders received from 2:00PM Thursday and before 2:00PM Friday normally ship on Monday;

Weekend orders received from 2:00PM Friday and before 2:00PM Monday normally ship on Tuesday.

Orders shipped using standard shipping and handling normally arrive four to ten business days after we ship (NOT receive) the order. 2nd day air orders normally arrive the second business day after we ship (NOT receive) the order. Next day air orders normally arrive on the next business day after we ship (NOT receive) the order.

Orders paid for by check normally ship after we allow a seven business day bank clearing time. We will notify you promptly by email if we will be unable to meet these shipping guidelines; if delivery time is critical we may be able to expedite the shipping of your order; please contact us for a stock check and a firm shipment date estimate before ordering. For purposes of compliance with the FTC "Mail and Telephone Order Merchandise Rule" our stated shipment policy is that we will ship all orders within 30 days of receipt of valid payment and complete destination shipping information.
